Dr. Maureen Rozenn has practiced Integrative Medicine for over 20 years, so that she can provide you with top-quality, personalized health care.
A skilled physician, she is one of the very few practitioners with the highest accredited degree available in her field, a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) with dual specializations in Women’s Health and Pain Management. In fact, she has been teaching the Fertility component in the DAOM Women’s Health specialization for well over 10 years.
Dr. Rozenn was the first female Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to become a Board Certified Fertility Acupuncturist in the COUNTRY!

Her Doctoral work included authoring several research studies focusing on acupuncture and fertility. One topic was on the synergy between acupuncture treatment combined with Clomid, while another examined an acupuncture protocol with IVF. She felt a great deal of fulfillment during her Doctoral preceptorships, including her time at two busy Western reproductive medicine clinics and her weeks in China in a gynecology hospital.
She deeply enjoys her private practice, writing books for patients as well as teaching classes for practitioners and passing on the wisdom of Oriental Medicine through her Tutorial, Masters and Doctoral students.

Dr. Rozenn has had a steady stream of interns helping and learning from her for as long as she has been in practice. Actually, she had students asking for teachings before she took the California State Board. In fact, at the time of this writing, most acupuncturists in Santa Cruz boasting a fertility specialty have taken at least one class, if not several, from Dr. Rozenn.
She has taught academic classes in the Masters and Doctoral programs at Five Branches University for over 18 years. At Yo San University, she
was recruited to teach Fertility Enhancement in the only Doctoral Program specifically focused on reproductive medicine IN THE COUNTRY! She showed doctoral students how to treat Women’s Health and Fertility issues through her extensive experience and top-grade education in complex gynecological disorders (i.e. endometriosis, unexplained infertility, PCOS, premature ovarian failure, recurrent miscarriage, etc.). She also shows students how to work with Western fertility drugs and procedures to minimize discomfort and maximize the potential benefits of Western therapies.
