Hormone and Imaging tests are most helpful when interpreted according to Integrative Medicine Principals.  A combination of Eastern and Western diagnostics can be used to determine the fertility patient’s profile and measure treatment progress. It is important for patients to have a working knowledge of commonly ordered fertility tests, so they can be their best health advocate.

Dr. Rozenn uses cutting-edge laboratories to assess adrenal function through saliva testing. An adrenal panel shows daily fluctuations in adrenal hormones. This test enables Dr. Rozenn to diagnose complex conditions such as Adrenal Fatigue. Adrenal panels are also an excellent tool for diagnosing and treating androgen excess in Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOS). Another test that may be instrumental in facilitating the shift from patient to parent is the Comprehensive Food and Environmental Sensitivity Panel. This panel has the ability to look for food and environmental allergens and “sensitivities”. Prior to the development of this panel, intolerances could only be sussed out through an elimination diet; the results of which can be difficult to determine. Not only does she rely on the same Western diagnostic testing a reproductive endocrinologist may use, she also employs Classical and Traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine diagnostic tools of pulse, tongue and abdominal diagnosis. Additionally, she utilizes Basal Body Temperature (BBT) charting which has been incorporated into Chinese medicine hospitals in modern China.
